Director Cary Fukunaga looked sharp last night at the NYC premiere of Jane Eyre alongside the stars of the film Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender. Earlier this month, the Sin Nombre director stopped by San Francisco, where I chatted with him about his latest movie, a darker take on the Charlotte Brontë novel. Cary says the classic tale has elements that will always be universal, including a woman who will not disrespect herself in the name of love.
