Watch Royal Biographer Andrew Morton on The View

Friends Thought Kate Middleton Was Lucky to Be Free Following Her Breakup With Wills

Before the royal wedding there was the royal breakup. Royal biographer Andrew Morton came on The View today to discuss what Kate Middleton's friends thought about the now-newlyweds' split a few years back — specifically they thought she was better off without Prince William! Morton's new book William and Catherine: Their Story is out today, and it includes details and stories from people who knew the couple closely, from courtiers to college pals, as well as other information we may not have heard in the weeks before the nuptials. In this clip, Morton also explains why William waited years to propose. Watch it now!
